Who offers pet insurance in Australia?
Canstar’s most recent pet insurance star ratings report collated more than 2,600 quotes to compare 81 policies from 19 providers to determine which ones offer outstanding value for pet owners. To be eligible to be rated, a provider had to meet the following criteria:
- Had to be available directly to the consumer through its website and not just through an affiliated organisation, e.g. pet shop.
- Had to be a standalone cover, e.g. not pet cover as an additional extra to home and contents insurance.
The following pet insurance providers were included in our 2015 pet insurance comparison.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said on Sunday he would not rule out anything in a new relief bill to ease the “tremendous hardships” of the coronavirus outbreak, including more money for state and local governments and small businesses.
More than 30 million Americans have joined the unemployment benefit rolls over the past six weeks and lawmakers on Capitol Hill are discussing a fourth coronavirus relief bill.
Democrats are pushing for additional aid to help cities and states cope with lost revenue from a shut-down economy and some governors have warned of massive layoffs if they fail to get it.
Some advisers to Republican President Donald Trump have said the need for another stimulus bill is not yet clear. But Kudlow said “there may well be additional legislation” as officials study how the billions included in the last bill take effect.

right of privacy: access to personal information
The right of privacy has evolved to protect the ability of individuals to determine what sort of information about themselves is collected, and how that information is used. Most commercial websites utilize “cookies,” as well as forms, to collect information from visitors such as name, address, email, demographic info, social security number, IP address, and financial information. In many cases, this information is then provided to third parties for marketing purposes. Other entities, such as the federal government and financial institutions, also collect personal information. The threats of fraud and identity theft created by this flow of personal information have been an impetus for right of privacy legislation requiring disclosure of information collection practices, opt-out opportunities, as well as internal protections of collected information. However, such requirements have yet to reach all segments of the marketplace.
I guess it’s about time to shut down this blog, Top Finance Blog. It’s been a nice run of 11 years and initially I had a lot of fun and made some nice money, but those days are gone and it’s time to move on.
Since I never had many return visitors or subscribers and had only one comment in the last 5 months, I doubt anyone will actually read this. But that’s okay because I’m turning off comments in any case, so I’ll probably never know if anyone ever cared about most of the content here in the last few years or so.
However, if there were things here that interested you, here’s a bit of information for you. Many of the articles here will be repurpose elsewhere. They’ll either go to my accountant’s blog, who I write for, or my relatively local blog, Syracuse Wiki, where
Unless you’re a freegan and have found a way to live entirely off the grid, you probably need some sort of steady income in order to survive. The traditional way to earn money, of course, is by having a job. You work for a company or start your own, and the work you do earns you money, which you spend on things like a mortgage, rent, food, clothing, utilities and entertainment.
Most people typically work from their company’s central location, a physical space where everyone from that organization gathers to exchange ideas and organize their efforts. But many folks have found ways to make money within the comfort of their own home, thanks to the internet. Some of these gigs are best for those looking to make a little extra money on the side, while others can lead to full-time jobs and big success.
Many web-based jobs require you
