Cheap personal loans guide including loan calculator

angel may

This is one of the most common question about loans. You should never aim just to consolidate – it’s often a disaster waiting to happen. If you’ve a lot of small loans or credit card debts, the primary aim should be to pay them as quickly as you can at the lowest possible rate.

Don’t be suckered in by the promise that a consolidation loan can save you money by reducing your outgoings to a “manageable” level using just “one single monthly payment”.

They can – but the way they do this is by stretching your borrowing over a longer period, maybe 15, 20 or even 25 years. That means the amount you pay back is going to be huge, as you’re paying interest for much longer.

A £10,000 loan on a high street credit card at a horrid 18% APR costs £5,240 in interest if paid off within five

Credit, Credit Scores and Credit Reports

Which comes first, your credit or your first credit card? That’s not much easier to answer than, “Which came first the chicken or the egg?”

The reality is that your credit comes after your first credit card or loan. No loans, no credit cards means no credit.

There’s credit—an advance to buy something—and then there’s your credit—aka your credit file.

Credit

Credit is essentially a loan from a bank or other financial institution, including a credit card issuer. These entities are collectively known as creditors or lenders and extend credit to you in the form of:

  • Installment loans —aka installment credit—such as a mortgage or car loan
  • Lines of credit or credit cardswith a maximum usable credit limit—known as revolving credit
  • Credit arrangements are utilities, memberships (think gym) and service agreements (think cellphone)
  • Charge cards that are like credit cards, but have to

Remove Personal Security (Uninstall Guide)

angel may

Personal Security is a rogue anti-spyware program from the
same family as Cyber
Security
. This program is promoted through the use of malware that will
install it on your computer without your permission. In order to protect itself,
this program will automatically attempt to terminate security programs that
may help to remove it. When installed, Personal Security will be configured
to start automatically when Windows starts. Once started, it will scan your
computer and display a variety of infections, but will state that it will not
remove them unless you first purchase the program. In reality, the infections
it finds are either fake or legitimate programs that if deleted could cause
problems with the proper operation of Windows. Therefore, please do not act
upon any of the files it states are infections.

Personal Security also employs numerous methods where it tries to trick you
into thinking you are infected.

Student finance guide for parents and partners

angel may

You might need to give Student Finance England information about your income if your child or partner has applied for student finance that’s based on your household income.

You’ll be asked for financial details for the last full tax year previous to the start of the academic year. For example, if the student is applying for the 2019/20 academic year, the tax year will be 2017/18. Student Finance England will ask for details of the previous tax year because this is the most recent full tax year at the time applications open.

Your information will be used to work out if your child or partner can get extra Maintenance Loan on top of the Tuition Fee Loan and basic Maintenance Loan.

If your income in the current tax year is likely to be at least 15% lower than the previous tax year, Student Finance England can assess your household income
