Nigerians Embarrassed As Ministry of Finance Begs Elon Musk, Tesla for Ventilators On Twitter

Some Nigerians are bewildered on social media following the official Twitter deal with of the Ministry of Finance and Price range begging for ventilators from industrial engineer, Elon Musk.

On the final day of March, Elon Musk tweeted that “We have now further FDA-approved ventilators. Will ship to hospitals worldwide inside Tesla supply areas. Gadget & delivery value are free. Solely requirement is that the vents are wanted instantly for sufferers, not saved in a warehouse. Please me or @Tesla know.”

With over N13.5 billion donated by people to assist the Federal Authorities within the struggle towards coronavirus, many questioned why the Finance Ministry would make a public plea for ventilators.

In its tweet (apparently deleted) at 11.35 pm, thirty first March, the ministry tweeted in reply to Elon Musk “Expensive @elonmusk @tesla, the Federal Authorities of Nigeria wants assist with 100 – 500 ventilators to help with #COVID19 instances rising day by day in Nigeria.

Nigerians took to Twitter to precise their disappointments.
